*** レポート概要(サマリー)***

Coal is a major commodity for the South African economy since it has the largest share in energy sources. The country had the ninth-largest proven reserves of coal globally, at 30.1 billion tonnes (Bnt) at the end of 2014, accounting for 3.4% of global reserves. South Africa is the world’s seventh-largest coal-producing country, with coal production at 261.9Mt in 2014, up by 2.2% over 2013. Major coal producing provinces in the country include Mpumalanga and Limpopo, the Free State, Kwazulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape.

The report contains an overview of the South African coal mining industry together with the key factors affecting the industry and demand for the commodity.

It also provides information about reserves, proximate analysis of coal, historic and forecast data on coal production, production by type and grade, historic and forecast coal consumption and exports, the competitive landscape and active, exploration and development coal projects.

Gain an understanding of the coal mining industry in South Africa, its reserves, historic and forecast data on coal production and by type and grade, historic and forecast domestic coal consumption and exports, demand drivers, active, exploration and development coal projects, the competitive landscape and the country's fiscal regime.
